Kauai's east side fishing grounds is now filling in with lots of new bait food. Tuna,Mahi,Ono,Marlin and several other species of fish are biting daily. Spring is an amazing time to get out and do some deep sea fishing. Island Fishing Kauai is happy to help create the memories of a lifetime.

Kauai's East side has had amazing conditions the past couple of weeks.
February is shaping up to be a pretty good month.
Here is a nice Ono also called Wahoo from a few days ago.

Kauai Winter Fishing is in full swing with nice conditions and good fishing,
Lots of small to medium size tuna with an occasional Large size Yellow fin Tuna also Big Eye Tuna are around as is common this time of year.
Mahi mahi have been hooked recently mostly in the small to medium sizes.
Pacific Blue Marlin , Stripped Marlin and another smaller Bill fish the Hebi also called the short billed spear fish are all possible this time of year.

Kauai's east side fishing grounds have seen unusually hot weather and higher water temperatures. The lack of trade wind weather has diminished our normal current. It is looking up though as trade wind weather is expected to begin again in the next few days.For updated and more current fishing report please call or email via the Reservations Page.

Deep Sea Sport Fishing Kauai over the past few weeks has had super exciting Big game tropical blue water action . Several fishing tournaments have been held throughout the entire state. Kauai Sport fishing is in full swing and July heading into August is heating up even still. Charters are filling up quickly so be sure to call with some advance notice to get your preferred date.

What an awesome day with great clients. This fish took three hours to reel it in and put up an amazing fight. Proving that technique is a key element in landing one of these beautiful fish.We almost got spooled,meaning in the initial run the fish took every bit of line off the reel down to the final wraps.We were extremely lucky and not having any human error or equipment failure was also a factor in bringing this 231 pound tuna over the rail. Charter Fishing Kauai recent news and fish report for June 12th. This past couple of weeks has seen a vast amount of Ono also called Wahoo as well Large Yellow fin Tuna ( 200 plus sizes ) called Ahi in Hawaii are here and there. Summer is kicking in and we are anticipating the fishing to heat up as always.
