What an awesome day with great clients. This fish took three hours to reel it in and put up an amazing fight. Proving that technique is a key element in landing one of these beautiful fish.We almost got spooled,meaning in the initial run the fish took every bit of line off the reel down to the final wraps.We were extremely lucky and not having any human error or equipment failure was also a factor in bringing this 231 pound tuna over the rail.
